Judgment and categories

An understanding of the judging criteria is essential to the contestants' success and ensures that they are properly prepared to compete in the competition.
The judging criteria vary from category to category. Each category has its own criteria. Knowing what the judges are looking for helps contestants avoid punishment or disqualification.

Each category will have a categorical internal division when this division will be determined near the time of the event and will vary from competition to competition (for example, divisions according to: age, experience, weight, height, etc.).

Criteria for judging by categories

In this category the competitors are expected to have a high muscle mass and a high level of toning, they are scored on 2 components - symmetry and muscularity.
The judges will try to check which of the competitors has the highest level of toning in combination with as much muscle mass as possible and all this while maintaining proportions, the competitors must present their muscles in a correct performance and perform all the mandatory poses.

Rounds:
1. Symmetry is tested in the symmetry round:
Balanced physics, equal level of development from top to bottom.
Equal level of development front and back.
Structure - "V" shape, broad shoulders, narrow waist, body length (torso) and equal leg length.

2. Muscularity is tested in the round of mandatory poses:
Round and full muscles - only a structure without muscles does not win!
Toning level and "muscle clarity"

Score:
The judges will score each competitor in each round according to the number of competitors, for example: if there are 10 competitors, each competitor will be ranked from 1 to 10. The competitor with the lowest score is the winner and in the event of a tie, a tie-breaking round will take place. The judges are allowed to move competitors a place to compare them.

Jewelry is allowed as long as it does not obscure the proportions, and in good taste.

Body jewelry (piercing) is allowed, as long as it is not offensive.

Scoring the rounds

Round #1 – Symmetry and proportions.

The contestants will perform quarter turns, at the request of the moderator; The judges will compare

Compete against each other in the obligatory poses. The judges will look at balance and proportion (eg, between the top

and the lower body, and the sides). Lagging competitors should be symmetrically balanced; Upper and lower body will not overlap each other; Symmetry is such that no part of the body stands out from the rest of the body. However in this category there is definition in the upper body: back and lower quadriceps developed. Symmetry is an emphasis among these.

Round #2 – muscle tone and toning.

The contestants must have good muscle tone and mass for the representative. Toning and muscles

developed; However, the contestants should not present a defined and muscular physique as shown in Bodybuilding or Fit Body.

Quarter turns are a must for both turning symmetry and muscle tone.

These are the four poses:

face to the judges -

  • Heels must be together and in an even line, without one foot crossing the other.
  • The hips must face the judges and the arms must remain at the sides (although they must not touch the body or be spread wide beyond the natural line of the body or hide a competitor)
  • The back should be open/spread out to show a nice V-Taper. The proportions of the back are compared to the proportions of the lower body.
  • The toes must face the judges, but contestants can point their toes out slightly if it helps to emphasize the quadriceps.

side position -

From the front position, the contestants will make a ¼ turn to the right and aim the stance:

  • Upper body turns 35 degrees towards the judges so that the back shoulder can be seen, but the rest:
  • The hips must face the side of the stage
  • The gaze must turn to the side of the stage
  • The toes must face the side of the stage with both feet flat. The feet can be crossed up to half the distance of the other foot (front or back).
  • Long hair should be pushed back behind the front shoulder so that it does not hide the body.
  • The front and back arms should hang freely with the palms facing the body

Rear/back position for judges -

From the side position, the contestants will make a ¼ turn to the right facing the back of the stage

  • Both feet must be together or very close
  • Toes cannot be spread wide, toes can be slightly extended as long as they face the back of the stage.
  • You cannot move your legs or heels (that is, one in front of the other), you can bend your knee a little to show their appearance.
  • The contestants must move their hair to one side to show their back.
  • The arms must be at the sides with the hands hanging freely - the palms facing the body
  • Lats/back spread out laterally to show upper body symmetry.

Personal presentation (to be used as a tiebreaker, not in scoring/ranking)

  • The hair and make-up should complement the competitor's look
  • The bikini suit and shoes must meet the requirement.
  • Overall stage presence - the judges will assess the competitor's ability to perform quarter turns smoothly,

To show confidence and appearance, the judges may request a change of positions to assess the final rating.

During the walk on the stage, the judges will consider: the elements of the contestant's presentation as a whole and during the obligatory poses. The judges will look to see if all of the above holds together.

Scoring can be positively or negatively affected by stage walking. Do not combine poses that do not belong to the category.

Pre-Judging Walk/Presentation - A normal walk should occur with all contestants remaining on stage at the back and the contestants will be called one by one.

In the individual walk, the contestant will go to the side of the stage and perform 2 poses of her choice. Poses must not be held for more than 3 seconds each, and the entire individual presentation must be completed within 15 seconds (the head judge may allow more time depending on the size of the stage).

The Stage Walk or T-Walk is the competitor's opportunity to show grace, comfort and confidence.

The contestants should perform the walk with good taste and confidence. Scoring can be damaged by performing excessive poses or performing outside the laggard category or intruding into another competitor's space (bodybuilding positions, gymnastic movements, excessive dancing, etc. are not allowed).

The score of each round:

The judges will rate each round and give the contestants a final position for that round. before moving on to the next round.

Example: if there are 8 women in the category, the judging team will rank the position of the contestants from 1-8 in each round.

At the end of the judging, the two scores will be added together to reach the final ranking for each competitor in the same category.

The judges may change or move a competitor up or down. The judges will call the contestants to the front of the stage again, and they may group one contestant next to the other and ask for specific poses to reach the final ranking.

*In this category, stage walking and personal presentation is a tiebreaker in the PRO category.
